Oh summer, please don't rush!!

As I'm sure most teachers feel, I don't want summer to end!  Not yet anyways.  I feel like it's flying by.  Like seriously, where did July go?!

I'm excited about school and all, but this summer I have been so busy doing things for parents.  I swear I've been acting as a full time contractor while my father is away on vacation!  It's great in the sense that I've perfected my painting abilities and know much more about how to renovate apartments, etc.  My only complaint is all the days I've miss out on laying out poolside and perfecting my tan!  Tan?  Yeah right, what tan?  I'm still as white as I was in January!

I've been spending my nights with numerous hours on the computer creating lessons and units for this upcoming year.  I really enjoy it, but I'm taking a break this week.  It's about time for me to head back to school and get my classroom ready for September.  My goal is to get my classroom done this week (which is most definitely possible because I have my wonderful boyfriend helping me! I have to give him some credit :)).  Next week, I see myself laying out on some beach close to home!  Ah, hopefully that wish does come true!

I've been searching for linky parties to participate in, so that I can connect with other teacher bloggers.  I found this great link up on Farley's blog and wanted to participate! Thanks Farley!

She has rules set forth in order to join her link up, so if you decide to link up, make sure to follow her rules! :)

Enjoy the rest of your summer and Happy Saturday!!

  4. Hi Anna,

I TOTALLY need to clean my house as well, but I haven't =( I moved from Los Angeles to another city in Cali to be closer to my parents. But I have been so busy setting up my classroom that I didn't even unpack anything from home. My place is an absolute mess....I am hoping I can get it done before Thanksgiving break. LOL!

    1. LOL..I'm sure you will get it done soon! I know, easier said than done. Trust me, I just cleaned yesterday because I couldn't stand the mess anymore! I plan on going in this week to set up my classroom...ugh, I'm dreading it right now. However, I know once I get in there and start it'll be fun. :) Best of luck with your classroom and new house! I hope you have a great school year!
